Pet-Friendly Hotels in Oklahoma City: Fees and Dog Limits

The best pet-friendly hotel in Oklahoma City is the one that accepts your actual dogs, fits your plans and makes the full cost clear. A pet-friendly badge alone cannot answer those questions. Start with this small, source-linked comparison rather than a long list of properties with unverified rules.

Research checked October 23, 2026. This is a desk-researched shortlist, not a ranking based on personal stays. Our selection emphasizes published pet policies and useful differences in fees and limits.

Three Oklahoma City hotels to compare

Ambassador Hotel Oklahoma City: a published two-pet limit

The hotel’s official FAQ lists a one-time $100 pet check-in fee, up to two pets per room and a 50-pound limit per pet. Those details make it a candidate for a pair of smaller dogs. Ask whether your room category is eligible and whether the fee covers both pets; the brief policy does not answer every booking scenario.

Colcord Hotel: resolve the weight-limit conflict first

The Colcord FAQ says two dogs, up to 50 pounds each, for $75 per stay. Its Hilton information page instead shows a 75-pound maximum and a $75 nonrefundable fee. We have not reconciled those conflicting official pages. If your dog weighs over 50 pounds, do not assume the more generous number applies. Obtain written approval from the hotel before paying for a nonrefundable room.

Red Roof Inn Oklahoma City Airport: first-pet fee savings

The property’s policy lists one qualifying domestic dog or cat at no pet charge, with a second pet charged $15 per night. It permits up to two pets and specifies an 80-pound limit. This is a budget-oriented alternative worth comparing against your preferred neighborhood and arrival route. A free first pet does not mean a free second pet, free room or absence of other charges.

Compare the whole stay, not just the pet fee

For a two-night visit with two eligible pets, the Red Roof policy implies a $30 second-pet charge. Colcord’s FAQ gives a flat $75 stay charge, while Ambassador lists a one-time $100 fee. These are pet-fee examples based on published policies, not room quotes. Room rates, taxes, parking, deposits and cancellation terms can change the final comparison.

A hotel with a higher pet charge may still cost less overall if its room price and parking fit your trip. Conversely, saving a small amount on a pet fee may not be worthwhile if it adds a long drive for every meal or event.

Choose the location around your dog’s routine

Check the property’s actual map position rather than relying on an Oklahoma City label. Ask where the nearest permitted relief area is, how you reach it after dark and whether elevators are required. For a dog that reacts to hallway noise, request a quieter room location without assuming the request is guaranteed.

Questions to ask before reserving

  • Will this exact room accept my pets’ species, count and individual weights?
  • Is the fee per room, per pet, per night or per stay?
  • Can pets be left alone, and is a crate required?
  • Are there restricted floors, public spaces or room types?
  • Can you attach written pet approval to the reservation?

Which option fits your trip?

Start with Red Roof if a first-pet fee saving is your main concern. Consider Ambassador when its two-pet, 50-pound framework fits your pack. Treat Colcord as a candidate requiring clarification if weight is close to either published limit. None of these descriptions guarantees a pet-friendly room for your dates.
